This year, we’ll gather in the heart of Dordrecht at the charming Cinema De Witt (Google Maps / Brochure / Look Book) – a cultural venue with a long history and an intimate, welcoming atmosphere.

Arriving by train

The venue is located just a short walk from Dordrecht Central Station, which offers direct train connections to Rotterdam, Breda, The Hague, and Utrecht. If you're coming from other parts of the country, a transfer at Rotterdam Central station usually gets you there quickly and comfortably.

If you need assistance, for example because of a visual impairment or because you use a mobility device, you can utilize the free travel assistance offered by NS. Ensure you book your trip at least 60 minutes in advance via the NS app, or by calling.

Arriving by car

Check out the nearby garage Drievriendenhof — just a few minutes away and open 24/7.

⚠️Note: The Papendrechtsebrug (Bridge N3) will be closed until spring 2027. Most up-to-date navigation software will not route you over this bridge. The government has provided us with a document of alternatives (in Dutch only).

Arriving by bike

Dordrecht has over 650 kilometers of cycle path, of which at least 530 kilometers is well lit in the early and late hours. The venue has amble bike racks right in front of it.

Dordrecht is served by various bike sharing programs, such as the OV-bicycle by NS (available at the train station) and Donkey Republic in corporation with QBuzz, the bus provider of the region.

Accessibility

The cinema and brasserie are fully wheelchair accessible. The building has step-free access throughout, includes a lift, and offers an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Please reach out to conference@fronteers.nl if you have further accessibility related questions or requests.
